This pumpkin pie dessert hummus is dangerously good especially when enjoyed with Siete Cinnamon Churro Strips! The flavors and texture combined almost remind me of a pumpkin cheesecake but only this is loaded with nutrition. This hummus will definitely make an appearance on Thanksgiving and might even be a new staple in my fridge every week this fall. You gotta try it!
Ingredients
1-15 oz can chickpeas-rinsed & drained
3 tbsp cashew butter or sunflower butter (I have yet to try with almond or peanut butter but would avoid since the taste may be too over powering)
¼ cup pumpkin purée
¼ cup maple syrup
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Directions
1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth and fully combined
*Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
Makenzi’s Tip: Enjoy with Siete Cinnamon Churro Strips or smear on top of a rice cake or piece of cinnamon raison Ezekiel bread in the morning!
